KIF1A.ORG is a global community dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by KIF1A Associated Neurological Disorder and accelerating research to find a cure. In addition to patient support and advocacy, KIF1A.ORG leads a collaborative Research Network of researchers, clinicians and innovators from over 40 institutions to drive therapeutic development. As a patient-led research organization, we offer tools for development that are freely available to the scientific community to expedite the search for treatments. In addition to ongoing R&D collaborations with leading biotech companies, KIF1A.ORG funds strategic projects powered to rapidly develop treatment for KAND.
