Today is a historic day for New York’s life science community as we celebrate Governor Hochul’s announcement of a new State-of-the-Art Cell and Gene Therapy Hub on Long Island. This Hub, in close proximity to Northwell Health, will undoubtedly position New York as a national leader in Cell and Gene Therapies, demonstrating the power of collaboration between New York’s academic medical and life science communities in transforming medical research and advancing lifesaving treatments for cancer and other serious diseases.
 
Beyond the development of Cell and Gene Therapies, this Hub will also drive unparalleled opportunities for economic development across the region.
