We are excited for next week's episode of our Virtual Breakfast series! Joining us will be Dr. Barry Kappel, founder, CEO, and Director of Sapience Therapeutics. Sapience will officially turn 6 years old on Tuesday and has made terrific progress: its lead compound ST101 advanced into the clinic for the treatment of patients with advanced and metastatic solid tumors and its pipeline now includes five novel therapeutics programs.
Barry had been a biotech leader for more than a decade, having previously served as Contrafect's Senior Vice President of Business Development. He has a terrific perspective on innovation, company formation, and the evolution of the biotech community in New York. We can't wait to talk with him on Tuesday!
